2nd Annual (2007) Leo H. Criep Symposium on Patient-Provider Communication: Mentoring Session
Registration Form

As part of the "2007 Leo H. Criep Symposium on Patient-Provider Communication," the Institute for Doctor-Patient Communication is pleased to announce the Mentoring Session scheduled for Friday, November 16th (8 AM - 11 AM). Rooms will be reserved on the 6th floor of 230 McKee Place. The Mentoring Session provides an opportunity to meet with outside experts for topic areas such as: (1) career development, (2) consultation on education and/or research projects, (3) brainstorming education and/or research ideas, (4) contemporary issues in patient-provider communication, etc. Participants registered for the Symposium are invited and encouraged to take part in this session. Each of the outside experts (see Keynote Speakers page) will be available for 30 minute sessions to meet either individually or in a small group. There will be 3-4 such sessions scheduled for each of the outside experts. Because of the anticipated demand and limited time availability of the experts, we encourage those interested to sign up as soon as possible. Registration for the Mentoring Session is first come-first serve. Please note that the registration for the Mentoring Session must be completed in addition to the registration for the Symposium. Decisions on the mentoring sessions will be forwarded to all registrants prior to the date of the Symposium.
The Keynote Speakers available for mentoring during this special session are:

Gregory Makoul, PhD- Northwestern University
James Tulsky, MD- Duke University
