Welcome to the General Internal Medicine Fellowship in Hospital Medicine Website

The University of Pittsburgh Hospitalist Fellowship is a 2 year training program in inpatient internal medicine. The goal of the program is to train physician leaders, educators, and researchers in providing excellent and comprehensive inpatient care. The curriculum is designed to provide hands-on experiences in inpatient care, training in medical education and research, opportunities for learning quality improvement techniques, and developing a focus for research and education in one area of inpatient care. Fellows will be mentored in scholarly research or curriculum projects, present their results at national meetings, and publish in scholarly journals.
